Book description: The American Atlas was originally published after Thomas Jefferys had died and therefore it included, on its first appearance, the map of North America which had been the subject of significant revision and is dated 1777.
This beautiful facsimile of the original edition, is printed on hand made paper to replicate the paper used in the original, and has been hand coloured with shellc inks, to follow the style of the original.
Special Edition: Bound in goat and hand marbled paper.
